Priest hack literally gave me a fresh start. Before, I was stressed out and exhausted from being turned down from lender to lender. As of now, I now have an excellent credit across all the bureaus.
5:12 Once again I’m anal about credit and I would never get a real personal loan for no legit reason so what I do is every year I get a SELF loan (which is like a CD but it reports to all three credit bureaus as if it were a personal loan) and when the first billing period happens I pay the majority of the loan off right away and just wait until the 12th month to make the final payment. So yeah I take a credit hit the month that the loan is first reported but than the next time the loan reports it will show that I’m over 90% paid off and than I just continue to have “on time payments” for the full year of the SELF loan and I just wait to make the final payment when I get that last statement. I’ve been doing this for years and currently my lowest FICO score is with Experian at 805 and that’s great considering just three years ago I was at like a 530😂😂😂

I think there might be a case for optimal score 760 …especially for mortgage score

On another note, banks are becoming slick in their underwriting. They’re punishing cardholders by cutting the credit limits & gradually increasing their rates, especially the ontime cardholders. #👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Probably got less then 5k debt 3k credit card 500 & 300 . Pay small off them put as much I can for bigger limit close to 30 percent

“How many accounts that have balances.” What if I don’t need to use any of my several credit cards but just want to keep them active and keep my credit score high? Do I use one card a month to below 25% or even 10% then clear the balance when the statement is issued but before due date? Or do I use a tiny amount on each one then clear them all on statement date before the due date?

On credit karma my credit score is 641 ; I recently applied to Avant I thought I would get approved right away, I got denied 😢it says due to your credit score being 504 what? I’m confused !!! What credit card can I get with 504? None?
Does it hurt me negatively having more credit cards? I have 18 credit cards (credit utilization of cards is only 4%), one personal loan, and a mortgage. Would it be smart to get rid of some of them? Or should I just keep them? I’m in the very high 700’s now according to credit karma, Transunion app and Experian app.

I’m super anal with my credit to the extent that I treat my three AMEX charge cards like they are a credit card with a $500 credit limit lol. My Platinum card and Gold card statements just closed yesterday and both will be reporting a $20 statement for each trade line. All 11 of my credit cards are reporting a utilization of either 0% or 1%.
