One thing to clarify: hardware can exist without software, and software can exist without hardware. Your fridge’s cooling system doesn’t allow you to program it, most likely because the algorithm is implemented using hardware and virtual machines(eg you emulating a DS to play Pokemon) doesn’t require you to have a DS in your hands. Realistically and practically though, hardware and software go hand in hand to form computational systems like your general-purpose computer.

I came to this Cos I thought there was something wrong with the software of my touchpad mouse… I went through every settings and was trying to fix it for hours
Then I realised it wasn’t something wrong in the computer itself (software)
But it was actually the hardware of my touchpad that was broke… its worn away and the sensors have gone abit
