The container is not I repeat is not waterproof as stated. I know I lost my manuals from water damage to include my sales slip from lowes from rain and I had this so thighs that I needed a pipe wrench to unscrew the cap off.

*Fits my log splitter great. **Bestfor.Garden** also recommend I thought it might be a little small based on some of the reviews but fits fine and is standing up to +70mph Wyoming winds and blizzards.*

I just got this about a month ago.,I wasn’t out shopping for a log splitter but when I saw this they had it right next to the Troy bilt, I have been a troy bilt fan all my life, But seeing the DHT parked next to, the TB was embarrassing for troybilt they perhaps should change the name to TOYBILT…….. The machine is massive compared to the toybilt, Twice as big and twice as sturdy,,, The machine operates flawlessly,,, The price was also almost $ 500 less than the troy bilt…One of the best purchases I ever made. ,,,The only thing is I did not get the log guard with mine, I guess whoever assembled it didn’t feel like putting it on, and I didn’t knot it was included,,, Still a fantastic price for a fantastic machine

Does bark and wood get caught in the grey beam area and require cleaning often? The open beam seems better. What do you think?

I don’t heat with firewood. Just like to cut it, stack it, grab a cold one and stare at it with my shirt off. That’s what I like to do with it. .
