Bring some of your stuff to the woodworking shows you teach at, put a price on them
Not like you don’t have a lot of them you’ll never use all of them.
Even if its in bad shape, they still look good.

I picked up couple jack planes at a flea market recently. 15$. Not bad, blades had some rough nicks, but nothing that couldnt be worked out with a bit of elbow grease. I like flea markets.
I would love to see you find a deal in L.A. My experience is there is very little deals for used tools on the west coast.

Lots of mentally ill people out there who are convinced that they will be happy if they have just one more tool. Let’s put this in perspective, what guy doesn’t think a woman with 40 pairs of shoes is crazy? Yeah, you are just as whack as she is.
