Have to watch out for those post hole diggers!
Im scurr
The angle grinder happened to me i was grinding down a 2" cast iron pipe because the pipe that was coming up out the concrete was not square
That grinding wheel broke and fragments hit my body, my knees and my pinky.. I still have the scars on my pinky haha
Thanks for this video’s very important. Safe first. Knowledge it’s important.
Don’t forget about reciprocating saw
Skid steer
Question: Can Goro, Kintaro or Sheeva safely operate a 2 man post hole auger? 🤔
The amount of grinders I see with the guard removed….
A newfie
I’d say operators’ lack of safety precautions, their apathy, or (#1) their negligence causes more accidents than whatever dangerous tool(s) they happen to be using.
I’m 52 year old disabled woman can’t afford hire contractor to remodel an addition on my 1969 mobile home I inherited from my parents, and roof leaking, what’s safest power tool I can buy to cut paneling and 2 by 4 wood and drywall and metal in mobile home?
Most dangerous tool in the shop are on the job site is the two legged fool who doesn’t know what he’s doing with it that causes injury to himself and other people
I’ve thrown by a power post digger. I almost broke my arm. It hung up in a root. It literally slung me off my feet. Far a a grinder. My little brother had one blow up on him giving him a nasty shaving scar. 10 stitches. Another guy I know had one blow up and with safety glasses lost a eye. Ya I’ve been lucky with power tools.
I would add words to this list. My wife yelled at me after I botched a DIY project and used very vicious and hurtful language. She’s lucky I couldn’t find my air compressor
Thankfully I’ve only been hurt by a tablesaw kick back. Took a 20 foot wood paneling to the thigh. Tis but a scratch
I run an auger company and we will never use a hand auger they will hurt you
After watching this I stopped blowing compressed air into my anus. Thanks for the warning!
I think you can spray your self with compressed air because I use compressed air to blow off fiber glass
This is why I wear full knight armour when using a circular saw and angle grinder.
Circular concrete hand saw 600 mm

I was new to the chainsaw a year ago got my first one I replaced the chain once and after a short use the bar backed out and the chain snapped off luck I was not running full speed and just started my cut it scared the hell out of me now I make a few cuts safety check few cuts safety check always where my ppe
I think the most dangerous thing I’ve used is an angle grinder with twisted knot wire brush, if that thing catches on something it’s violent.
No table saw?
The grinder made me rethink using it without the guard
The most dangerous tool is that script off to the side 😂😂 put that shit above your camera so your eyes don’t dart to read it
Just bought an angle grinder. Not taking that guard off now! 😶
Rotary hammer.
Angle grinders are the one I fear most had to many lucky espapes with them
I just want to say thank you for making this video!
I had no idea compressed air is this dangerous! also, I use a vibrating multi tool for making cuts cz it feels way safer
get Vid but a ladder is the WORST !
Can’t say it’s deadly but the tool with the most accidents Would be a standard slotted screwdriver
Mine is hammer drill because I was drilling concrete and then the hammer drill got stuck and and seriously injured my wrists from it binding up
2:51 my dad hurt his shoulder now has rubber bands and pins and more stuff from a post hole digger
I think you need to do another one of these, there are still so many more dangerous tools that are very common
Also, auger on a turned-off snow blower.
I had compresses air aimed at an ear by a friend when I was 13 or so. Do not do this.
The scariest tool I actually use regularly is probably ladder. I’m mostly maintainence, not high rate production. I can work really slow and plan everything when I use a grinder or something. A ladder makes any task 3 dimensional and no longer purely visual. I’m not on level ground, and I can’t see my feet and the work at the same time. I’ve always had a lot of trouble keeping any awareness of more than 1ft of space at a time, so it’s always super confusing.
Mechanical stored energy is also scary. With a bungee cord, your hand is right on the stored energy, and it it takes active work to control it.
I can’t avoid ladders, springs, and
If you watch this at 1.5 x speed, it sounds like he talking at a normal rate. You’re welcome!
Had a saw kick back and barely Nick me
The dangerous tool I know of is a table saw which you forgot to add in the dangerous tools list
My dad has an old grinder that he got some time in the early 80s. It has no side handle, the safety guard is gone and, worst of all, the on-off switch is at the base of the tool where the power cable connects. Thus, it’s necessary to hold it in one hand to turn it on and off. I don’t know why he continues to use it, but it’s one tool that I would only use as a last resort.
I had a grinding disk explode and cut my hand pretty damn good
Leather face?
I self clean every single day. Been doing it for 5 years.
Don’t forget the chuck n duck wood chipper. Holy shit that’s dangerous.
I consider knowledge or knowing how to do or use something to be the most important tool. Therefore a lack of knowledge can be extremely dangerous. That said, I assumed the most dangerous tools would be mostly saws/cutting tools and the most dangerous would be a chainsaw.
1 table saw
2 cordless scissors
I prefer to use gas augers with a mule (where the motor sits on 4 wheels and the auger portion is powered thru a drive shaft). The safest ones are attached to tractor PTOs tho.
I’m often laughed at because I’m safety first at all times, I for example used to work in a garage where they had 3 angle grinders and just one with a safety guard, I wouldn’t be grinding if this one wasn’t available. Same thing with my chainsaws, I don’t even start them for maintenance without protection on because it could happen fast. I think it is your right as a worker to go home in the evening in the same shape and condition as you left home in the morning.
That guy falling off the ladder with a chainsaw – That’s why you use a bucket guys. And if you don’t have a bucket, pay someone who does. (Although I just use tree climbing spikes).
